About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet new people, Try new things & Be a positive influence on those around me
ABOUT ME
I'm an extremely bubbly, positive and outgoing individual who always strives to make the best of any situation. I find incredible enjoyment in meeting new people and learning about their lives. I am fascinated with how each person has their own unique story. I love the idea of throwing myself into a country, where I don't have a plan and don't speak the language and seeing if I can make it. I live for adventure (but hate roller coasters).
PHILOSOPHY
Surround myself with those I love and make the most out of any situation (no matter how bad it may seem at the time).

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Law & Order: SVU, Lost, Mad Men- tv that makes you think!
I listen to all sorts of music, anything from Franz Schubert to Skrillex with some Tim McGraw in the middle. I really just can't stand screamo.
Books: The Firm by John Grisham is one of my favorites, but I really adore Shakespeare- especially Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Underwent emergency surgery in Osaka to get my appendix removed!! AHH!! Such a crazy experience, I even got to keep my appendix. :)
- Cheered on the Canadian Women's Hockey Team to GOLD in Sochi... definitely lost my voice from screaming SO HARD!
- Accidentally found myself in the middle of the New Years' Day Parade at the Mall of Asia in the Philippines. Thousands of spectators took my photo and wondered what on earth a tourist was doing in the middle of their parade! But security never tried to remove me and I had one of the best experiences of my life :)
- Had over 16 random Chinese people ask to have a photo taken with me in front of The Forbidden City in Beijing. Not going to lie, it was one of the strangest experiences of my life but I definitely felt like a celebrity!
- Climbed a glacier in Ecuador called Cotopaxi (closest point on the entire earth to the sun! true fact)
- Saw Juno Beach, which was incredibly emotional considering all the events that happened during WWII on it.
- Debated in the Canadian House of Commons in Ottawa for a mock parliament through my University. Very cool to see where my nation's legislation is created.
- Saw a Muay Thai fight at a local arena in Thailand, incredible to see the passion of two 6 year olds beating the snot out of one another...
- Experienced the unbelievable energy at a local futbol stadium in San Jose, Costa Rica. The crowd's energy was so intense it was more fun to watch them, then the actual game. :D
- Skydived in Nevada. The free fall was insane, but the rest of the descent I almost lost my lunch I was so nauseous...
- Snorkeled around the Galapagos Islands with 200+ year old turtles, sting rays and lots of colourful fish!
- I've marveled at Picasso's giant painting Guernica, seen Monet's Lilies and Van Gogh's Starry Night.
