Hey! My names Becca, I’m currently living in Newcastle and working doing Market Research. I’m a huge music fan and so live going to live events and things like that. I’m fascinated by people and so have always found great pleasure in meeting new people and learning about their lives. I’m a vegan, I really love it - but I’m not one of those vegans that will force my opinion on you, you’re welcome to have a bacon sandwich- bacon is tasty!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have hosted as many people as I can as often as I can over the past few years and I have had a lot of people stay, however currently I am unable to host. I hope to travel either later this year or the start of next year - so hopefully I will be doing more of surfing than the hosting! I do attend my local couchsurfing meet up sometimes too, though not as much as I would like to!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Couchsurfing has 100% been one of the best things I have done, I have made some amazing friends through meetings and through being a host. It is such an incredible thing, and it has helped me so much in my personal life.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music:
I love everything really, I am trained classically but listen to a lot of rock, metal, house and folk music. I grew up listening to folk and blues music from my mum, and cheesy pop and french music from my dad, then at school I got heavily into the rock and metal scene, and all of it has stuck with me, currently I am listening to a lot of electronic and house music though - which I love.

Movies:
Horrors are my favorite, but I do love a good comedy. I also really enjoy really nerdy comic book films and a lot of science fiction. Then obviously I am totally obsessed with Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, and all those old classic hollywood films.

I traveled across Europe by myself. It was scary and exciting and I ran out of money, so all in all it was the perfect trip. I had a lot of fun and met some amazing people along the way!

I have a keen interest in food, so I know a lot of really great places to eat, and I love markets so I know a few really great ones in the area!
