ABOUT ME

I am a giant history nerd. It's uncontrollable. I love to travel, and I've been around (parts) of the world, but I want to go everywhere. I've lived and gone to school in Australia. I just graduated from university, and I'm moving to York for my master's degree in the Archaeology of Buildings.

PHILOSOPHY

Try not to worry: if a situation is fixable, you can fix it. If there's nothing you can do, there's no sense in worrying about what you can't change.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed a few times while on my travels in Europe, and have always found it to be far more interesting (and entertaining!) than staying in a hostel. I remember my hosts and our adventures long after I've left.

Books: Mason & Dixon, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Doomsday Book, historical fiction, sci-fi, short stories.
Movies: Not my strong suit, but I'll watch almost anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled around Europe for two months with an excellent friend, which only further fueled my travel bug.
