ABOUT ME
We are currently living on the outskirts of London, teaching psychology and science at secondary schools.
PHILOSOPHY
I suppose for me the most important thing is sharing my time with other human beings. That's what gives life its greatest meaning and happiness. What's most important to me is compassion, love, happiness and laughter. You can find that only through sharing with others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We host and surf when we can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I love meeting new people. So far, I've never had a bad experience when either hosting or surfing. The people that I've met so far are interesting and open-minded, and I have been amazed by the generosity and trust I've found.
Interests
I love the outdoors, especially hiking, backpacking, and cycling. I am happiest in the mountains. Other interests include dancing (especially salsa!), cooking, painting, writing, and talking with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Let's see...amazing things that I have done or seen. Living with a host family in Costa Rica was a pretty amazing experience for me, and becoming such an accepted part of their family. Living in a yurt at the base of Mt. Olympus in Olympic National Park as a backcountry ranger was also amazing, but in a different way. Solitude can be quite the teacher if you let it.
Jon and I also cycled around Asia and Europe for 14 months. This held so many adventures, I can't begin to list them here!! So, if you meet us, we can talk then!
