About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be where I am.

ABOUT ME

Je suis artiste... I love all forms of art, but dance is my life. I am a fun, nice, (I think) interesting gal who loves meeting people from all over the world, and exploring the everyday lives of different cultures. I have lived all over the United States (South Carolina, North Carolina, D.C., NYC, Las Vegas, San Francisco), but call SC my home-- gotta love the Southern charm. I am currently living in the wonderful New York City where I dance, choreograph, and teach ballet and Gyrotonic. I recently graduated from school (studied sociocultural anthropology), which I admit to really missing.... I am a vegetarian and a great amateur baker of treats (some day I will open up a healthy pastry shop. It will be delicious, I promise). I do believe there is a bit more to me, but that's for later.

PHILOSOPHY

Love life, be nice, smile, dance.

I would love to meet up with couch surfers traveling through NYC!

I will be traveling through Europe dancing this April.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with some wonderful people while traveling a few years ago. Couchsurfing, to put it lightly, changed my life. It exposed me to the kindness that exists all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving down the California coast from San Francisco to LA left my jaw dropping every 30 seconds. Probably the most beautiful road trip ever.

To be honest, though, I think it's the random little moments of realizing just how awesome it is to be alive in this world that are really the most amazing. They creep up on you on a sunny spring morning, a summer night, or maybe just while you're buying a loaf of bread. Those are best.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make the best brussels sprouts in the universe. Seriously. And brownies too!
I'm also taking some really incredible courses in school right now (studying anthropology and human rights), so I'd love to chat about all the awesome things I'm discovering.
I could also teach you how to dance :)
