ABOUT ME

Three adjectives that describe me, according to one of my friends are: Kind, empathetic, and sarcastic. My other friend has described me as "clean, respectful, and will make you laugh." I like to think that I'm funny. My spirit animal is Leslie Knope from "Parks and Recreation".

I want to provide opportunities for others to do what they have to career wise, while still keeping things inexpensive. After spending years traveling for conferences, those "hotel deals" are never what they're cracked up to be. And if you have a company or freelancer budget, there's no point blowing it all on lodging, just so you can schmooze, network, or do your archival research!

兴趣

I'm really interested in social entrepreneurship and making a visible change in my community. I get really excited by very small things, because I know how much they count. My hobbies include: knitting, scrapbooking, bad television, drawing on microsoft paint, and riding my bicycle to get an ice cream. I love kids and am currently an academic editor for ESL students.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went to Peru in 2007 and built a pre-school in the Sacred Valley. It was the most amazing experience I've ever had and changed my life for good.

Climbing the steps leading to Maccu Piccu, having to crawl the last 30 metres, and then looking up to see the most perfect view of the ancient city. It looks exactly like every postcard ever taken of that place.
