Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
enjoy what little free time i have outside of school
ABOUT ME
i love making things: cooking and baking keep me sane, crafts from knitting and sewing to funny wire sculptures, structures and how they work and how i can build them, gardens, chickens, art (especially printmaking).
i'm pretty laid back, love joking around. i thrive on outdoor time; camping, biking, hiking, jumping in cold water under the moon.
PHILOSOPHY
if i die young, at least i got some chocolate on my tongue.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For the next several months I will be traveling in Latin America, so at this point I am trying to find some nice folks to stay with! I also love to host people when I can, although it's been hard for the past few years because I have been living in small homes with many people in them, all with various degrees of enthusiasm for having strangers sleep on our couch.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
great! i have mostly surfed because the houses i've been in have been super cramped with folks and therefore not very open to couchsurfers, but have hosted a few people. on both ends, it was a joy to meet new people and either live vicariously through their travels or their stable lives and deep knowledge of an area i am exploring...
Interests
cities and their relationships to resources, structures, art vs. craft, botany and birds (still struggling with those), gossip. but i'm really pretty interested in anything i can get my hands on.
