I'm an Alaskan, adventurer, backpacker, and curious traveler exploring Europe by train for the next several months with my partner, Cooper. I enjoy learning about the cultural, political, and environmental issues in places I visit. I used to spend most of my travel time in the eight northern circumpolar countries, as they were my focus in my studies in architecture, but on this trip we are exploring warmer climates!

I have been shown incredible kindness while abroad, so I'm looking to pay that back by sharing my world with others. When I'm traveling, I hope to find safe places to sleep, meet kindred spirits (both hosts and traveling companions), and learn from locals about themselves, their ways of life, and favorite things about their homelands so that I might come to understand the places I visit.

Nothing beats sledding the mile-long road down from my family's cabin in Alaska - except maybe one glorious sunny day of runnersledding in the Swiss Alps. Extreme sledding at its best.
