ABOUT ME

I'm currently studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to become a German speaking nurse. I'm spending the Spring 2012 semester in Bonn, Germany to finally live outside of my hometown. I love traveling; not just to see new places but also to really experience life outside of my realm. I love music, all types, and understanding how it expresses the artist, although I am musically challenged myself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I have never hosted, I'm totally up for getting coffee or a drink with anyone who stops into Madison. I don't have an available room right now, but as soon as I do, I will be available for hosting! I want to learn more about locations, more than you could find in a tourist book, so that's what intrigues me most about Couch Surfing. In my opinion, it is so much more beneficial, interesting, and exciting to be on the inside rather than in a hotel peeping in on people as if they live in a fishbowl. I'd rather swim!

兴趣

I love to travel, so basically when I'm not traveling I'm saving up money to do so! Other than that, I love learning (I'm in school and get pretty involved in my University), cooking and baking, listening to and learning about music, knitting and hanging out with my friends and family. I'm known to go on the occasional jog and enjoy hiking and walking as well.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I remember watching the sunset on the coast of Kenya, after enjoying a freshly cracked coconut on an Indian Ocean beach and thinking that life could not get much better. The ocean was so blue and everything that was familiar to me was so distant...it was one of the most memorable moments I will probably ever have, and hope to return to in the near future!
