About Me
Queer vegetarian dog-mom, currently a second-year Americorps member serving with a youth development nonprofit. I run an after-school and summer program for underserved middle school youth. I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Arts and Humanities and Anthropology.
I am passionate about food, feminism, education, and my chihuahua, Clove. Interests include gender and sexuality, equity and justice, pop culture/media criticism, museums, theater, music, art, nature, cooking, sustainability, and seltzer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Seems like a great way to meet new people and make connections around the world. My favorite thing about traveling is getting to know people and their culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camped on a rooftop under the stars in the valley next to the cliffs of Bandiagara in Mali (West Africa).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Happy to help cook, clean, assist with childcare and pet care. I have a lot of knowledge and experience with pets, especially dogs, from many years of animal rescue as well as working in the pet retail industry.
I am a positive person who soaks up information like a sponge. There are very few things I don't find interesting and I am always up for good conversations.
