I've studied linguistics and education, and currently work in public policy. Born and raised in Oregon - love to travel, cook, grow flowers & food, play with my dog & cat, and go on adventures with my life partner, Sam.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted and I've surfed, and I've met some really amazing people through CS. My experience couch surfing has totally brightened my experiences in foreign and not-so-foreign places.

Interests

I enjoy luxuries and simplicity:
A glass of wine or five - or some herbal tea and a book. NW microbrews. Adventuring in the woods. Cooking homegrown veggies. Conversation of the philosophical or nonsensical varieties. The Muppets. Being in the moment and maybe getting a little weird.
