Ok so I am Becki and am looking forward to the next adventures, learning new skills and meeting new people.
I have been living in Madrid for 4 years as a teacher. I miss the natural landscape and mountains and want to get involved with projects that respect nature and how we can learn from her. As much as I can I try to escape to the Sierra out of the centre but now is the time to make a change and live there more and hopefully forever!

Before I was a teacher I worked with community environmental projects gaining funding for solar power projects and horticulture and allotments. As well as organising events for Environmental Awareness. I want to get back to my environmental roots :-)

I am a chilled person who likes to socialise over a coffee or a cana. I love to hike up a mountain, swim in rivers or lakes, cycle as much as I can on my mountain bike or road bike and practice yoga.

I look forward to meeting interesting people and improving my Spanish along the way.

I like to meet new people - I like to learn new cultures - I like to meet like minded people.

What a great way to get to know the real sites and culture of a place. I always take to alternative route and like to get lost. I rarely follow a city map to get from A to B - I prefer to go with my inner homing pigeon and the gut feeling.

I'm starting to use coach surfing for this reason - to meet people who can take me to those hidden gems.
