About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want nothing more then to learn, travel, write, and grow as a person. My list of "Things to Do Before I'm 30" is really quite long.
ABOUT ME
I seek out the genuine in life and appreciate it fully. Working hard is part of my life, and I throw myself into whatever it is I need to do. Beauty is everywhere and there is nothing I would like more then to see as much of the beauty in life and the world as possible. For a full life, it is essential to cultivate the connections between people.
PHILOSOPHY
I live for the connections between people. In hard times, what do you have? In times of loss, what do you have? People. Personal relationships are to life like the beams are to a house.
Routine kills the soul. Variation is the sparkle in life. When one day is just like the previous and you can't tell the difference then you're dying a little inside.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, but working on it!
Interests
I dance, sing, write, hike, run, and adventure whenever possible. I'm down for most anything outside, from snowboarding to weeding the garden to wakeboarding. I'm curious and I need to explore more of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I watched the sunrise from the top of a mountain in Teotitlan, Oaxaca, México.
Teach, Learn, Share
To prune trees or shrubs, wait until they are dormant. If you live in North America, the best time to prune is in March or April, anytime before bud break really. The reason for this is so the plant "wakes up" with fewer limbs and the energy that would have been put into them is used otherwise. Also, this is the time of year when it's about to thaw, so the frost can't get into the wounds as deeply.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my farming/gardening knowledge, as well as a beginning familiarity with my surroundings.
