About Me
Greetings. I was looking to write something attention-getting and maybe a fact that makes me unique from all the other Couch Surfers, but truth is, I believe we are all just here looking for a more culturally intimate experience while traveling.
I've been away from the US, calling Germany home for the past two years. Before here, I spent several years in England and did my time in the middle east.
Life goes by quickly and I don't want the places I didn't see to haunt me for the rest of my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been looking at doing some traveling off the beaten path, specifically in India and the Ukraine.
Growing up, our home was open to foreign exchange students studying in Boston, and I've wantee to continue this tradition somewhat as an adult. I'd like to host someone interested in seeing the Kaiserslautern area.
Interests
I'm like hiking, biking, running, all that outdoorsy stuff, but I think my passion these past few years has been in the urban exploration scene. I've been photographing abandoned locations all across the US and Europe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wouldn't call this an amazing accomplishment by any means, but I started living out of my truck and "couchsurfing" across the US over 10 years ago.
Since then, I'd say setting up humanitarian missions creating soccer fields in Afghanistan and being welcomed in the Afghan community has been one of the most amazing experiences I've had.
Having the opportunity to live overseas also brings me great happiness.
