I am very much a quiet traveller - when visiting other cities, I often take extended walks alone, preferring to use the guidance of a paper map or just banking on my ability to backtrack. Unless attending a performance, I tend to turn in before 11pm, and I nearly always rise with the sun. I'm also not one to frequent restaurants; I usually up exploring the local market offerings and throwing ingredients together on my own.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

While road-tripping through the US national parks from Colorado to California and back, a friend introduced me to the Couchsurfing world, and I was pleasantly surprised by the results. As a more quiet traveller, I enjoy getting the local perspective on things and being able to exchange stories with other, like-minded travelers, or at least open-minded hosts. And if I make another friend out of the experience, I'm not opposed to that.
