Tom and I live in Bradenton, Florida. I am an elementary teacher and Tom is a charter boat captain. We usually spend our summers on a self supported bicycle tour somewhere in the Pacific Northwest but this year we decided to take a road trip around the United States and Canada with our bicycles in tow. We have experience with Warmshowers being hosted and hosting cycling tourists. Our experience with Warmshowers has always been memorable and enjoyable. We are looking forward to meeting many locals and enjoying their company with Couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on a roadtrip through the U.S. and Canada. We look forward to meeting locals to give us travel advice on where to go so we can have a true memorable experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Twenty five years ago, I left Florida with my bicycle and flew to Seattle. I bicycled from Seattle to San Francisco by myself with my tent and sleeping bag. I enjoyed the experience so much that just two years ago, I took Tom back to Seattle to ride the whole route again with him. It's a wonderful, beautiful adventure!!
