About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The more I learn, the less I know.

ABOUT ME

I think a lot
I am very open and very honest
I am slightly shy
I am good at listening
I am fascinated by people
I try to find the beautiful in everything, even sad things
I like the feeling of laughing so hard that it makes me cry
I am sensitive and adaptive, like chameleons
I am passionate about learning and helping others to learn
I can be very quiet
I can be ridiculously loud
I love irony and sarcasm
I am myself when I sing
I am passionate about singing and helping others to sing
I love making things, beautiful things, with colours, with clay, with sounds and with words

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everyone has something good and beautiful about them.
I think there is meaning and purpose to existence.
I don't think the values of the western mono-culture are helping people to be real people.
I don't aspire to materialism but I see it as a neccesary evil to help us grow.
I try to look at what life is telling me as well as telling life what I think.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I suppose my only couch surfing stories are related to the random people I have met in my travels who have shown me wonderful kindness and hospitality, welcomed me into their home and given me amazing food and riveting company. I usually end up becoming good friends with these people, even though I probably never see them again. I have learnt a lot from these people and I hope that I gave them something too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Theres lots, but this one comes to mind. Going swimming in the sea at the end of the summer, on a beach in Cornwall as the sun went down. Stunning.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a little bit about a lot of things. I know a fair bit about Waldorf education, a little bit about leading choirs, artistic and craft activities like sewing and carving etc.I want to learn more about massage and the healing arts, I'd like to learn about different cultures, their attitudes to life and their stories and legends and songs. I am always eager to learn new folk songs from the places I visit.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, India, Italy, Madagascar, Nepal, Norway, South Africa

Countries I’ve Lived In
