My name is Becs, thank you for viewing my page.
I can describe myself as happy, compassionate and wholesome. I am looking to meet new people to learn from and talk to. I enjoy learning about people's culture, and engaging in deep philosophical disscussions.
I enjoy cooking (please teach me your favourite recipes), playing board games and reading and writing. I love red wine, and I love to hike, (often those things together can make for a happy me).

I leave the UK in Jan 2017 and heading to Mexico. I am planning on working my way down through Central America, and then South America.
I want to visit as many countries as I possible. I am a solo traveller and so not only is CS amazingly cost effective, but also it will give me the oppurtunity to make some friends.
I really hope to meet some great people and I look forward to sharing some experiences.

I have a very eclectic taste in music - I like anything from the blues, to Ska, reggae and folk. I enjoy watching local musicians play in local venues and love to support them.
I am not a great lover of movies - I prefer to watch series. Some of my favourites include: Friends, Peep show and Breaking Bad.
I LOVE books!! Eat, Pray, Love being one of my old time favourites. Shantaram, The time travellers wife, The Celestine Prophecy... anything with a cultural narrative and a good love story running through.

I got a 1st with honours for my University degree! I worked extremely hard to achieve this. I also got a 1st for my dissertation project, which I wrote about Easter Island, and I am extremely passionate to head there during my trip.
