I grew up in the UK (Birmingham for the first 19 years, then Manchester for 6 years). I moved to New Zealand on a 2 Working Holiday Visa in July '14.

I've been living in a little village north of Auckland for 6 months, but now starting to travel the country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am going to be travelling round New Zealand a lot in the next few months, and in the next year will also be spending some time travelling the USA. Couch surfing seems like a great way to meet new people and to experience new places from a locals point of view.

Interests

I am really interested in Hiking and Climbing, but have not done as much as I would have lived to since moving over here. Also enjoy reading, movies, drinking.

I enjoy being active, and going out seeing/doing things. In a new city I would like to go to museums or other points of cultural interest, as well as meeting local people.
I prefer to sit in a pub/bar rather than going out clubbing (but do enjoy that occasionally too!)
