About Me
Hey :)
I'm Becky, an easy going and open minded person, been living in Bristol for years and love its relaxed attitude, greenness and constantly changing culture.
I worked as a chef for years and then quit to work for myself, or rather to play and find a different way to live. It's one of the best things I've ever done!
Earlier this year I went on an epic trip around Kenya, learning about permaculture and sustainable living. Then went on a brief solo trip through Europe to do even more learning about these things, before going back to the UK.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to CS and hope to help out some lovely people on their adventures.
The world is so massive and I'd love to experience as much as I can. I hope by hosting I can share some of that experience with others.

Music, Movies, and Books
Grungy rock, ambient chill, dance, blues, anything piano, classical, bassy stuff.
The film that comes to mind as a favourite is 'Sunny'. Such a feel good film. I like some blockbusters like Hunger Games and XMen. Old classics like Braveheart and Jumanji, too.
Books, any story that gets more intricate and exciting as it goes. Non fiction - autobiographies, spiritual, zen, phyics, poetry...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Floated down the Mekong through Laos and Thailand for two days on a crazy boat. The solitude and sunrise were unforgettable.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to share each other's ideas and memories. But if you're busy or just wana crash I'm very happy to let you do your own thing too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I know Bristol well, from pubs and clubs, to city farms, river walks, surrounding attractions, so I can share local knowledge and tips.
I like to cook for people, and am vegan, can cook gluten free etc., although can't guarantee the regularity of this offer ;)
I have a comfy sofa, blankets, plenty of cushions-probably enough to make a second sleeping place on the floor. You are welcome to use wi-fi, kitchen, take a bath etc., feel at home. My flat is on a high street 20 minutes drive from the city centre.
