ABOUT ME
A fast-forward geographical life history would be this: I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, and my family never traveled much. Consequently, I had a lot of pent-up wanderlust. I started straying after high school; I went as far as Oberlin College in Ohio, which is the craziest hippie college I know of. In college I began traveling for the first time, and went to DC, Seattle, California, England and Ireland. I spent a year abroad in Marburg, Germany, where I was exposed to amazing cuisine and culture, and traveled around Europe as much as I could. After college, I moved to Seattle, where I lived for two years working as an EMT. During that time I applied to medical school, and was accepted at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. I moved to Denver to start my medical education in 2007, and have been up to my neck in medicine since.
PHILOSOPHY
At the heart of things, I am a huge dork who's continually in awe of life. I love knowing the how's and why's of things, and can be rational to a fault, but I also frequently overflow with excitement.
