ABOUT ME

I enjoy meeting new people and seeing new things. I am always up for an adventure and a challenge. I am active and enjoy the little things in the life that people tend to easily look over. I lovvvee food. I currently live in Lakewood, Ohio. I am a student and enjoy spending time with friends, lounging around the house, or playing sports. I heard about couch surfing through some Australian friends and look forward to spreading my experiences and welcoming them into the couchsurfing community.

My life my not be exciting, but its never been lived before. Everyday is a new challenge to find knowledge, experience, and happiness. I love learning about at least one new thing, daily. Keep growing, keep learning, keep loving, keep traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking forward to traveling and using this site to meet new people and experience new adventures. I want to learn and see as much as possible and develop unforgettable memories. I have already referred some personal friends to join and become a part of couchsurfing. My sister and brother and law travel a lot and participate in a type of couchsurfing...they don't have a profile on this website, but instead they actually visit different countries, meet the people there, experience life, and then end up staying and learning and working with the people. I admire them for that and when I found couchsurfing, knew that there was a whole community for people just like us!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed in Mexico and met some people who were willing to share everything they had. It was one of the best traveling experiences I have had because I didn't have to deal with the hassle of hotels and the typical tourist routine...I spent time with the people, ate where and what they ate, spoke nothing but spanish, and learned the importance of music and family in Monterrey Mexico.

Música, películas y libros

Everything, anything. I enjoy movies that pertain and include some useful historical relevance. Movies that can teach me something--I may be a bit of a nerd. I listen to all kinds of music...not too much a fan of jazz though. I play the violin--though I am a bit out of practice.

Traveled across the United States, stopping at almost every historic site, national park, visiting 23 states in less than three months after staying in Spain for 16 days....

Enseña, aprende, comparte

The best way to learn a culture is to see it from an insiders perspective. Someone who knows the city--knows the fun places to go, the unusual things to see...it doesn't get better than that.
You would be surprised how much more you can learn by spending even one day with a local versus a whole week with the other "tourists".
