CURRENT MISSION
Live fully, experience new people, things, adventures
ABOUT ME
Mostly I am a sweet little old lady, mother of 4, grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 1. Most important, I have a big dog, now 2 dogs. My baby dog is now 7 months old and a complete idiot If you don't like dogs, don't come. My mature lady dog is mostly very nice but I trust her judgement. I have as vital sense of adventure but remain a bit cautious. Hosting sounds great, travel will come later. You may have access to my kitchen, I may cook for you, we share a bathroom, you may use my cranky computer, there is a TV in your bedroom. Let's just see how all this works. My home is 2 minutes to TCU, 5 minutes to downtown Fort Worth, 8 minutes to our arts district (3 world class museums) and about 35 minutes to downtown Dallas. I make good coffee and have a modest selection of wine to share. I am open to a new adventure and anxious to learn about you, how you became involved in life's excitement and where all of this will lead you. Please come share with me.
PHILOSOPHY
Celebrate every moment, share your joy. Love abundantly and say so. Try always to be open to new, different, even exotic experiences. Forget fear.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'll probably clean the house.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet. That is why I signed up.
Interests
Dog obedience. We're just about to start much needed instruction. Organic gardening...same as obedience classes. Scuba diving and flying. Not really but it sounds so much more interesting than I am. I actually do cook weekly for the homeless and lead a bible study group. I laugh a lot and tell funny stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
Toy Story 2 I have seen about 1000 times. Perhaps that makes up for the fact that I haven't seen much of anything else. I only watch a few selected football, hockey and basketball games on TV. NO news or anything else so I remain ignorant of most anything that is not in the newspaper. I read 5 or 6 books a week, mostly nice wholesome murder mysteries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Perhaps the most amazing thing I have ever done is to live this long and still feel like a beginner.
Teach, Learn, Share
I might be able to teach someone to let go and let it happen. Or perhaps you can teach me all about that.
