ABOUT ME

current update: been back from travelling now for nearly a year.. amazing how times passes by! we really miss couchsurfing and meeting amazing people from different countries! we try to go on holiday when we can but its not the same as backpacking! would love to go back to thailand again!

me and bart are traveling round the world together, so far over the last 7 months we've been to thailand, laos, cambodia, western and eastern australia, newzealand, los angeles, cancun (for 2 days), back to los angeles, las vegas, san fran, kansas (yes, kansas) and now we have a few stops left in the US before this big trip ends... and then its onto the next adventure whatever that may be!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're only new to this (few days as i write this) but so far we've been to 2 couch surfing events, night market in melbourne and the book launch of sleeping around (a book about couch surfing) and met some really nice people! dont have a couch at the mo as we're traveling but when we get back and have a couch available its something im definitely up for.

Update: we've been on the site now for a few months and we tell all the other travelers that we meet about how great couch surfing is so as to spread the word and get more people involved in the project!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

was lucky enough to find ourselves staying in the couch surfing head quarters in san francisco which was really cool, great people living and working there to keep up this amazing site!

Things done together: dived the great barrier reef
spent 3 days trekking, living with a hill tribe in chang mai - thailand, went to a full moon party on koh phangan - thailand, went on a sand dune adventure in dubai and rode camels, snorkled with new zealand fur seals out in the wild
