About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world in a shade of light far from that of the normal traveller

ABOUT ME

To see the world is to see all the colours of the rainbow. To stick to one place is to limit yourself to one colour. The shade of that colour may change but the colour will always stay the same. For the last couple of years I have been living, travelling and working my way around the world. Having been involved with various different jobs, I have been to all the continents and lived many different lifestyles. I can't decide whether Asia, Latin America or Africa is my favourite continent. I love volunteering and some of my most precious memories are from volunteer projects. Living with the locals and getting involved in the local lifestyle is certainly the best way to travel. Open mindness, positivity, communication, adventure, people with good energy and fun is what I am all about. I am easily pleased, with a bit of interaction and a friendly face. I love to meet people from all over the world, to party as well as to relax.

I am sorry that I cannot host right now in Santiago Atitlan because I move a lot for my jobs but please send me a message as I would love to meet up!

PHILOSOPHY

Surround yourself with people who make you happy

Fear is a lie. Everything is an adventure and it is the unknown which is 'scary'. If there isn't a specific reason for why you shouldn't do something, do it! Most of the time you will have an unexpected time of your life.

Your life is what you make of it so think positively, act wisely and you will do great.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live by the unspoken travellers rule - to look after each other in the world we travel which is why I now want to offer my couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has certainly been an interesting experience for me so far. I have only had good couch surfing experiences in Indonesia, Australia and Hawaii and I guess there is always more to come.

Interests

Travel. Teaching yoga. Meditation. Swimming. Painting. Snowboard. Writing. Reading. Music. Volunteering. I want to learn to surf. Sharing travel stories with other travellers can keep me occupied for hours. I love partying, chilling out, going on unexpected adventures, stepping outside the comfort zone and learning about other cultures. Of course I also love to meet new people and to expand my friends around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love everything from drum and bass to beach lounge and from soul and blues to reggae and funk. Music is the international language by which 2 people do not need to be able to speak the same language to communicate. This is just one of the reasons why music is awesome.
