Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Learning arabic in Tunis!
ABOUT ME
(How NOT to use the words open/broad-minded, easy-going while describing yourself ?)
I was born and grew up in Grenoble, in the French Alpes. I spent a lot of time in this city, I have a lot of friends and associative/political projects that I like there, and I still live here.
Since I am 20, I make travels across Europe, hitchhiking, camping and visiting. This is what led me to Couch Surfing and then to bewelcome. I hate supra-touristic places, and meeting locals is always a way to avoid that =).
I am studying social sciences and I enjoy it. It's a pleasant time between being a teenager and working. I recently started to learn arabic and made short trips in Algeria, Lebanon, Morocco during which I improved myself a bit. Discovering arabic culture is so interesting, especially nowadays that everybody freaks out with terrorism (but that's an other story).
PHILOSOPHY
Having pronounced views on meanless things
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Trying to be warm and friendly without and beyond CS. Regetting what the ancient CS seemed to be like.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've already been hosted through Poland with a friend of mine. I've also hosted and been hosted while hitchhiking. In fact I've done many things that look like CS but never used CS officialy.

Música, películas y libros
Many! The last film I saw was a french one : "Wesh wesh qu'est-ce qui s'passe", about the relationship of french suburbs inhabitants to justice and police. The last book I read was a Aimé Césaire's one, an anticolonialist martiniquan writer and poet. Always a book in my bag. At random : Bukowski, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Khalil Gibran and some left-wing-oriented readings.
I'm currently listenning to turkish songs that I found in the film "Crossing the bridge" + polish songs from a traditional songs festival I took part in + french rap and hiphop, jazz, reggae, rock (Pink Floyd!)...
Finally, I took part in small musical projects with different kinds of instrumental formations. The last was a jazz fusion one, quite serious (Yellow Jackets, Toto, and own compositions). I also played manouche and others...
