Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Whenever I meet people outside of the heartland and tell them I'm from Oklahoma the response is fairly uniform. They will say, "Oh yeah. I drove through Oklahoma once." Everyone drives through Oklahoma. it's right there in the middle, hard to avoid. No one really stops and hangs out. Maybe they stop at the OKC bombing memorial. Downer.
I think Oklahoma, Tulsa in particular, is worth stopping in. Tulsa is not a city with many main attractions to draw people off the highway. But it is a city that's rich in art deco architecture, friendly people, good coffee, food and beer, lots of trees, local music, bike paths, farmers markets, art and theater.
I feel strongly about the energy that is in Tulsa and I would love to show people passing through what we have to offer!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted two fine gentlemen in the past. That was years ago now. I moved and went off the CS radar for a bit. I've also hosted a handful of SoundPony bands.
