I'm currently a student of East Asia and its languages. While a have got time I like to travel and open my mind for new things.

Anyways, I'd just like to have a wonderful time and meet lots of interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing adds the special extra to travelling. It makes it possible to encounter amazing people and make quickly friends. I think it is nice to not just be a tourist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked thousands of kilometers in around 40 countries now, including through desert roads at 48°C in the summer of Oman. In hindsight, not my greatest idea.

Had the chance to continuously travel for over a year in between studies.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook and also to learn new recipes. I also love all kinds of dough, have been making my own bread for a while and I'm currently on a quest to produce gorgeous croissants. Also there is the case of Chinese noodles. Surprisingly difficult to hand-pull noodles.

Lately, I'm really fond of languages, so I've learned Japanese the last couple of years and now I'm working on my Korean and Chinese.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always enjoy sharing my food, be it cooked or baked. Most of the time, it's quite good (no guarantees though).
