About Me
Hello! My name is Beenie. I recently decided to ditch the "rat race" to travel the world with my husband. We don't have much of a plan we just want to go and experience more. They say that the magic happens outside of your comfort zone so we threw ourselves way outside of our comfort zone in hopes to find some magic.
As a child I moved around the US a lot and have never lived in one place very long. I call San Diego home but I was not born or raised there, I simply lived there the longest. I have had a wide range of jobs but sadly I am the master of none. My degree is in business management but as the second child of five children management has always been a skill of mine. Sadly, this did not occur to me until after I completed my degree.
I am very much a people person. Nothing could be more fun to me than sitting with a drink and chatting with someone (or some people) about their life, city, or stories of any sort, or going out and experiencing life on the town!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love friends! I also really want to experience places like you do. I value an insider's perspective to their town.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I listen to almost anything. I really enjoy live music like blues in a lounge, a Subway violin, a wild concert, pretty much any music live fills me with great joy.
Books: I am listening to the King Killer Chronicles.
Movies: I have a cheesey sense of humor and most of my favorite movies are a little outdated like Princess Bride or Galaxy Quest.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have witnesses and been apart of was a community of people working together to complete a task. When we all lay aside our differences and get to work, that moment is amazing!
