ABOUT ME

Hello fellow couch surfers! This is Evan, and I would love to welcome you into my house in Portland's Overlook. I live here with Claire, my fiancee. It's a quiet place, just 3 blocks from the bluffs overlooking the river, close by lots of action, and only a 12 minute bus ride downtown. Lots of great bike trails nearby.

I have been an active couchsurfer for many years and just recently had the opportunity to start hosting again. I'm excited to bring some good people and experiences into my home...

Interests

I work in the beer travel biz and would love to introduce you to some of the city's best ales and lagers. I home brew, play guitar, am a photographer, love to cook, and enjoy sports/cards.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 6 weeks in Nepal volunteering and hiking. Amazing, life changing experience. In 2008 I spent 3 weeks cycling across the south island of New Zealand. I work in Belgium and spend a few months there every year leading bicycle tours. For more info see www.beercycling.com
