ABOUT ME

I'm a small towner who's always eager to exchange banters. By having 2 clowns as my parents, I've been trained to maintain happy (and patient with their little nuances). With a job that requires me to work at sporadic hours of the day, I fill in my spare time with little adventures. Inquisitive and enthusiastic by nature, I'd always be questioning just about anything, but yet shy at times. Thrilled at the sight and smell of coffee and nature.

PHILOSOPHY

In any contest between Power and Patience, I'd bet on Patience.

Why not make cheerfulness, outrageousness, playfulness a new priority for yourself? Make Feeling Good your expectation. You don't have to have a reason to feel good - you're alive; you can feel good for no reason at all!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a couple of surfers in my apartment and usually, it goes like this:- picking them up from a nearby train station, taking them to some place decent for a few bites, then hanging out and just have some scintillating chats about anything under the sun. If my schedule allows it, I'd bring them to the Batu Caves or the Twin Towers. Usually, it's all fun.

Interests

Picking peoples' brains through stories, travelling, having a good laugh over coffee, attempting to cook a storm, popping in DVDs to watch, playing violin in an orchestra, singing in a choir, going to the weekly Badminton session, doodling, reading an article or two, attempting to keep in shape by going to the gym or swimming, attempting at handycraft, photos taking, going for live acoustic gigs, attempting at playing guitar or any other musical instrument, attempt to improve at racquet games, board games, cycling, roller blading, ice skating, ball room dancing.

Movies : TED, Fight Club, The girl with the dragon tattoo, Painted Veil, In Time, The Help, Hachi: A dog's story, Before sunset, A beautiful mind, Kate & Leopold, Before Sunrise, Frequency, Up, The 6th sense, The Lake House, Identity, Premonition, I Am Sam, The Others, Be Kind Rewind (haha), The Bucket List. (I need to watch more movies)

Music : Anything that's pleasant to the ears and those that make me want to dance to. (This means no rap, no scary tunes, and no heavy metal rock)

Books : Seth Godin at the moment. And anything that's life-inspiring.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rock climbing at Cat Ba & Kayakking along Halong Bay in Vietnam during the winter *gasp*, motorbike trip in Borneo, viewing the Mount Everest and Grand Canyon, camping in a jungle, Full Moon party in Koh Samui, hanging out with the indigenous people in Sarawak, climbing up into a tree house, scuba diving at Mabul Island.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach : I can demonstrate on how to make some noise on the piano and violin.
Learn : To learn how to cook a dish from your home country and also the language, history, philosophy and anything else too!
Share : Explore cities, Stories & Laughter.
