About Me

CURRENT MISSION

'current' mission? ...this one is for life :)

ABOUT ME

Though I was born and raised in Canada, I got the travel bug as a teenager and have known ever since that one day I wanted to relocate to a part of the world where I could be inspired and challenged by my surroundings for a lifetime. In 2010 that day finally came, and I have been living in Switzerland and Germany and exploring within and out of its borders ever since.

PHILOSOPHY

eat, love, learn, laugh, live

"think outside - no box required"
"everything will be ok in the end. if its not ok, its not the end"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Tho I can't host right now I am always available for a drink, a meal, a dance or any kind of excursion anytime!
If there is a CS meeting or activity that is taking place and I can manage to attend, I am always up for it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since joining I hosted the nicest guy from Brazil. I also spent 3 weeks couchsurfing my way from Iceland to the Canary Islands. Most recently I couchsurfed in Turkey and Rwanda.
CS members in Switzerland have been so welcoming and many good times hanging out with them

Interests

anything active and outdoors like hiking, swimming, surfing, skiing

cooking, wine, shopping the markets for fresh foods (though admittedly my love of shopping the markets doesn't just stop at food... :)

the urban rush, meeting friends, nightlife

relaxing on a beach or at a bath

road trips, anything off the beaten path

photography, movies, music

salsa, batchata, cha cha, kizomba. I love connecting with other dancers so whether you're in town or if you're looking for someone to share a festival trip with, feel free to contact me! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

seeing the mountain gorillas in Rwanda

Teach, Learn, Share

well I kind of feel like I'm the jack-of-all-trades so I don't know what one would want to learn from me ;)

but...I feel confident enough in my salsa skills :)

English is my mother tongue and german a close second so I can help with that...on the flip side you can teach me turkish or spanish, italian, or french lingo so I sound cool on the streets and not like I came straight from the classroom :) I would also love to learn russian and arabic one day...

Im always looking to pick up tips on photography, graphic design programs, gastronomy

otherwise two brains are always better than one so anything else we can always figure it out together!
