I am a bit like a muppet, strange and excitable and colorful. I am mostly vegan. I am always in the mood for: an adventure, learning something, meeting new people, or making something. My favorite color is plaid.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is what you make of it, make it something awesome, ridiculous, beautiful and crazy. why not? you only get one!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new and interesting people, hearing about their adventures and learning from their experiences. I love how everyone is given a life and seeing all the different things you can do with it. I also really enjoy sharing my home with people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted and surfed with many a fine people. Many of them I am honored to call dear friends. I am so grateful for this beautiful way of building community, and can't wait to see what amazing people I meet next.

Interests

I love making puppets (from tiny to huge, found, and time intensive builds) I am a physical performer and have studied in mask, mime and clown. I talso have trained in acrobatics for several years. I like climbing on things, and riding my bike. I love adventures, urban exploring, making new friends and hearing different people's perspectives.

music, the very top of the list: Neutral Milk Hotel, The Music Tapes, Pixies, The Velvet Underground, The Beatles, Tom Waits, Elliott Smith, Myk Martello, The Waterhens,Early Beck, They Might Be Giants, Bob Dylan, The Breeders, Bjork,The Books, Clem Snide, Nirvana, Ben Folds, many more, but there's a taste.
Movies: directors I enjoy: Jan Svankmajer, early Tim Burton, Jim Henson, Michelle Gondry, Spike Jones, Charlie Kaufman, Jean Paul Jeunet, Wes Anderson. some titles: Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Royal Tennenbaums, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Muppet Movie, Pan's Labrynth, Delicatessen.
Books: mostly nerdy books like, world history of puppet Theatre, art of Mesoamerica, molding and casting, kite making. I love reading but I'm a rather slow reader and don't have a lot of spare time.

I can teach you How to:
build stilts, walk on stilts, play basic accordion, carve, mold and cast, block printing, screen printing, make hats, pull an invisible rope, and build puppets.
