Hi! I'm Arne, I'm a Seattle-born traveling circus performer with a passion for sustainability and minimalist living.

Since 2016 I've been living a light-weight nomadic lifestyle. Going where work takes me, or where my heart takes me.
When traveling for work I am normally provided with accommodation, when following my heart I try to stay with friends, circus folks, or maybe your couch!

I am currently on Maui, and will be staying in Hawaii until sometime in the spring (as I await my summer tour schedule).
While here I intend to Scuba dive, sail, possibly surf, and hopefully farm or garden a bit! All I need is someone to let me onto their farm/garden...

I'd love to meet people here, become involved in short-term projects, and learn new life-skills!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in sharing economies and acting from a global-community mindset. I believe Couchsurfing can perfectly embody those values and help create goodwill will between strangers (future friends?).

Also, I sometimes travel by the seat of my pants and find myself in need of places to stay and set down my bags for a bit!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeling with dolphins in New Zealand was one of the most surreal and uplifting experiences of my life!
I also produced, directed, and performed in a Seattle-based Circus Collective for 3 years.
And if neither of those is enough for you, just this year I milked a goat ;)
