ABOUT ME

Music, nature and people interest me the most. I know these are pretty general categories but there are so many things to observe and talk about! I love conversation, debates and the sharing of ideas. Philosophies are what define us, and talking about them can help us learn about the world and its inhabitants; us!

I love animals (hence the degree in zoology) although I'm not sure if I want to continue in that field of study for the rest of my life. I love to be outdoors, laying in the sun, staying active and exploring the world!

PHILOSOPHY

Believe what you want, and respect others for their beliefs. Our different life experiences give us material with which to create new thoughts and ideas. A wonderful tapestry emerges from the sharing of these ideas and can help to unite us. Do not hold someone apart because they are different, embrace them and add to this tapestry of life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only used couchsurfing for one trip, which was the reason I got an account in the first place. I can't wait to surf more anywhere I can!

I cannot currently host but will do so as soon as I have the chance!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled to a few countries in Europe in the summer of 2011 and I couldn't have had a better experience! Every single host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. I can't imagine spending all my time in hotels or hostels and not meeting all these wonderful people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love being in nature, anywhere! Watching storms build on the central Canada horizon. Peering up the soaring tree trunks of the BC rainforests. Staring at the starlit sky and at the endless ocean. Those are the things that amaze me the most!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am still young and have a lot to learn about the world. I want to learn about politics and social structures. How to be more self-sustaining and autonomous. I want to know how to be a better person in every respect.

I know I have things to teach, but I have no lectures or speeches prepared. I know that, if people are genuinely interested in a topic, there is always something to learn from the other.
