Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe in the idea of open minded people welcoming strangers according to the motto, "A stranger might be a friend I don't know yet". I just love this kind of spirit and I would say that the majority of people is really really kind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying in a hot spa on the island Hokkaido in Japan. The spa was still covered by 3 meters of snow but the hot steam of the small pool would have shaped a natural ice cave above the hot water. So I was sitting in the middle of the pool surrounded by walls of snow when I raised my view. On the very top of the cave I noticed a small hole where I was able to watch the stars that night. Unforgettable!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you like to learn how to draw realisticly if can show you how to change your perception so you will start to see the world with new eyes. Yes, that is what I am are teaching to my students during my workshops. You wouldn't believe the outcomes I am getting from them. It's a joy to watch.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do have a cosy folding couch in a seperate room giving place comfortably for two couch surfers.
I also love to cook in company.
If you want to see the city I can show you around as well if my work schedule is allowing it. Or we even might be able to go for a hike into the mountains if the weather is fine. Bring good shoes if you got one!
