Overview
About Me
Student at Boğaziçi University, double majoring at psychology/philosophy
I am a ney player (ancient flute, traditional around Anatolia)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Until recently I wouldn't even consider travelling abroad an option. I had excuses varying from economic to social ones. Yet, once I broke that hypothetical chain, a lot of travel opportunities opened up to me. I am on couchsurfing because I like the idea of forming a community and bonding over experiences. Befriending a "stranger" in such a short time is a novel and challenging since it requires me to get over my shyness. Yet, I have never regretted when I did so.
I also would like to share my experience of my hometown with people from this community and re-experience and see the exciting parts of my familiar city with them.
