Hello!

I am currently a student at the University of Calgary majoring in Philosophy and Psychology and working as a server at a restaurant in downtown Calgary. I will be finishing my bachelors degree soon and hope to pursue graduate school.

In my free time, I really enjoying drawing and painting, reading, biking, yoga, and hiking in the Rockies. And of course, when I have the money and the time, I love to travel and meet new people.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

After becoming close friends with a girl who has been traveling and working around the world for the last couple of years, I mentioned I was going to Europe. She suggested I try Couchsurfing. It was such a pleasure to get to know her and I have always enjoyed meeting and learning about new people so I thought Couchsurfing would be a great experience for me. Meeting people in the country you are touring is an intrinsic part of the traveling experience. I believe Couchsurfing is a great opportunity for that!

Recently I was recommended to read the book Franny and Zooey by J.D. Salinger. Since then I have fallen for his characters and the beautiful worlds he creates. Right now, Salinger is at the top of my list for go-to books.
