PHILOSOPHY

In the words of the great Baloo:

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life

Wherever I wander, wherever I roam
I couldn't be fonder of my big home
The bees are buzzin' in the tree
To make some honey just for me
When you look under the rocks and plants
And take a glance at the fancy ants
Then maybe try a few

The bare necessities of life will come to you
They'll come to you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host mainly, I'll show you around too if you want to do something stupid like go to the beijing tapwater museum, although don't expect much of a guided tour of the city unless you want me to make up fake, inebriated historical narratives about shipwrecked pirates and rum-running hashasins that worked for the British to stave off the triads back in the 1870's.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Used to host when i lived in Texas, but never managed the website... just hosted whatever random people showed up at my house.

Interests

I don't know - art and music, making random things for yourself rather than buying them... unusual pets, chess, curry, cheese?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once met this guy at home depot with a pet squirrel in a tiny shirt that sat on his hat everywhere he went.

I can cook up some pretty good pseudo tex-mex using beijing ingredients.
