About Me
CURRENT MISSION
turning the lens both inward and outward
ABOUT ME
I'm a nice, pretty easy-going dude who is interested in people and life and what weaves them together. Lived all over the USA, currently in Brooklyn NY, considering a move to the midwest.
PHILOSOPHY
I think people have just about limitless potential to do whatever they want and it makes me sad when they don't.
I believe in many things.
I don't believe in television.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all types of good music.
I like good movies too but I don't watch very many because they're so long.
I read a lot and my chief heroes are Hemingway and Fante.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I built a science/engineering/design education studio in Hunts Point, South Bronx, and created a bunch of programs to get local kids involved in creative problem solving and building stuff with their hands.

Banana Boats, easy delicious campfire treat (a recipe)
banana
peanut butter
chocolate chips
mini-marshmallows
anything else (coconut, nuts, m&m's, reeses pieces, whatever)
a campfire
a knife
tinfoil
(1) Make an incision along the concave side (the inside of the curve) of the banana peel, from stem to base.
(2) Peel back peel flaps to create 'boat' shape.
(3) Stuff peanut butter inside. Crunchy is best.
(4) Add other toppings, embedding them in the peanut butter. Use as many toppings as possible.
(5) Wrap in tinfoil, place in coals of fire.
(6) Take out after 5 minutes or so.
(7) Unwrap, eat. Everything melts together and it is very nice.
