ABOUT ME

Hi! I am Bekah. I am currently a Social worker in Rome, Italy working in anti human trafficking and also a part time babysitter/English tutor. Prior to this I was living in Sofia, Bulgaria doing outreach and aftercare to women trapped in prostitution and was an English teacher. And Before that, I was an Au Pair (nanny) in Rome for a family with 3 kids. I lived there almost 2 yrs. I am 30 and before being an Au Pair I was a Juvenile Probation Officer in the inner city of Atlanta. I am compassionate and love helping people. I love diversity and exploring new cultures and people. I love to read, write poetry, laugh, Dance, and bake! I have 2 sisters that are my heart and soul and best friends. I'm so excited to be on this adventure and meet new people to smile, share encouragement, lift a spirit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met up a few times with different people for drinks and food and fun, have surfed a few times and it was amazing. Have hosted and loved it! Instant friends. Generous, interesting, open, creative people. Love the CS spirit.

I love to dance! Any kind, anytime, anywhere! Baking, cooking, painting, reading, writing poetry, discussing the deeper things of life. I enjoy wine, sweets, movies, and coffee.

Been to a dinner party full of strangers in Florence.
Danced in a fountain in Rome, Italy.
