Right, after working for six years as a ESOL teacher I've quit my job recently because I needed to discover a new direction to be taken.
I'm not the kind of person who does something for a living without really believing it - actually, that's not me at all! Doing things for the sake of doing them sounds rather superficial in my humble opinion.
Now I'm on my way to backpacking Asia and Europe and I must say I'm thrilled!
I hope that during this time I can get to know myself even more and feel inspired to make decisions for the future.

Apart from that I'm a responsible, patient person who cares about others.
I have a wonderful family and a very supportive boyfriend that I can count on - those make my life more beautiful and my plans possible.
I'm easygoing - though sometimes I tend to get a bit grumpy if I'm hungry or tired :)
I LOVE the sun and hot days - the heat makes me feel alive. But I confess I've never been anywhere with snowy winters and I'm looking forward to such novelty.
I like talking and also listening to people's opinions - books and songs are good companions as well.
I sometimes drink to appreciate a different taste whenever I feel like but I'm DEFINITELY NOT the kind of person who gets drunk and wasted.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be honest, I'm looking forward to having a unique experience on my first backpacking trip. I want to meet people, talk, exchange opinions and knowledge, share experiences and laugh. I want to have simple but memorable moments and feel the ease of being part of something bigger - I want to feel complete and alive!
It is all there to be known - after all, life is a journey with paths to be taken, places to be seen and people to be met.

Interests

I'm really into learning languages, I find it awesome!
Frankly, I'm not a big fan of museums and exhibitions. I enjoy train rides, walking tours and cycling.
I enjoy visiting original places and admiring their beauty in being different.
I'm a big fan of relaxing activities such as picnics, as well as walking alone and thinking about life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Alright, when I was a teen my favourite books and movies were the Harry Potter ones and they played a big role in my life - believe it or not! Now my favourite film is "The secret life of Walter Mitty".

As for books, I'm currently on a Nick Hornby phase.

I'm a big fan of The Cat Empire, The Cranberries and so many others!
