CURRENT MISSION

Pretend to go traveling after graduating, to take courses abroad (am interested in animal assisted psychotherapy), and get to know different people and have different opportunities.

ABOUT ME

I'm a very communicative person, am easy-going, not demanding regarding acommodations, am usually more concerned about my company. I have a more chilled energy, like long conversations, cooking, partying and going on hikes. I adore pets/animals.
I'm a psychology student, about to get my degree. I enjoy travelling a lot, either accompanied or alone.
I'm very pro active, but am a slow person =D
I don't smoke. I do beer.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to explore, in general. Places and people. Knowing different people serves to give me new references, and not that I should look new people from my own references alone. I believe that every person has something of its own, singular, and in that sense it always has something new to teach me.
I have great respect for the fact that each person has it's own time and path, therefore I dislike how standards usually serves to condemn people.
In my path I am currently looking for people that somehow have something to contribute to my search for working using animals as a tool in psychotherapy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just got in the community. Am currently unable to host =( due to construction at home. But love to welcome travelers in my city, which happens quite frequently since Rio is a very turistic town.
I experienced hosting travelers before CS though, and had good experiences overall.
I haven't surfed yet, but hope to!
As a surfer I would be more than glad to help taking care of the house's pets or kids =D
And any other things I could help out with, just ask.

Interests

I love animals/nature.
I like hiking, camping and rock climbing. I also love water sports.
I like history/culture studies and art. Have absolutely no musical habilities, just enjoy listening a lot.
I like cooking, am very flexible with food, enjoy eating a lot.
Beer is my favorite drink. No wine please.

Music, Movies, and Books

I find this a very very very hard section to fill in. It just seems to be an infinite field.

Movies: I am not a cinema person. Honestly. I love it, but I just don't do it, only when proposed by others.

Music: Folk, bluegrass, rock, hip hop, rap (american, brazilian and french), r&b, funk (soul and carioca), samba, reggae, dub, .........

Books: I'll name only my favorite: Musashi - Eiji Yoshikawa
