My name is Belén and I'm from Bariloche a beautiful town near the mountains in the Argentinian Patagonia. I grew up there and moved to Buenos Aires at the age of 18. I am a Teacher of English, (I'm currently finishing my studies at University) and I teach English to kids at a school. I'm still looking for my place in the world because I haven't found it yet. I love connecting to people and learning about other cultures, I always try to have an open mind. Languages for me are like water because I believe they help us connect with people and reflect our own culture, it is by learning them that we become closer to other cultures. I am always very eager to learn from others.

Interests

I love travelling... I take a great interest in fashion and I like to be creative with it. I love waking up seeing what the weather is going to be like and choose the perfect outift that will match my daily mood... That is why I usually travel with a suitcase instead of a backpack because I like that my clothes arrive in perfect state to destination and it is more practical when I look for stuff, because even if I am in the middle of the jungle I got to look good .
I love food and I'm trying to widen my scope to try new flavours. I love training and going for a run specially in spring time. I enjoy meeting up with friends and going out for drinks. I love nature and museums. Also love animals!I l love literature and reading in general. I am a grammar freak and adore linguistics!

Music, Movies, and Books

Essentially I am a rock chick but I also like to listen other stuff like pop and electronic. Among my favourite bands: Oasis, Radiohead, Rolling Stones, Stone Roses, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, The Velvet Underground and my favourite Beatle is George Harrison. I also like Taylor Swift and Rihanna (that is my super girlie side :))

I specially love artie fims (specially French) My favourite movie of all time is called The Dreamers if you haven't watched please do, you won't regret it, Then other favourite movies are: American Psycho , Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, The Butterfly Effect and Pulp Fiction and Birdman.

Regarding literature I specially like American literature from the XXth century Specially the big wave of short stories leaded by the one and only Edgar Allan Poe, and another author that I love very much is Raymond Carver.
Lately I'm consuming a lot of Post Modern Literature I really liked reading a Scottish writer named Ali Smith.
