Hello! My name is Belén and I am 26 years old. I live between Montevideo and Aguas Dulces, a seaside town at the Rocha coast where I have a little house where I try to spend as much time as possible when work allows. I work in the audiovisual field, filming movies, series, documentaries. I really like traveling, reading, pedaling around the city, watching movies, photography, the countryside, the beach, cooking (and eating :) ). I lived in Mexico for 5 months because I was studying cinema there, and I spent 3 months in Italy, at a traveling film festival called CINEMADAMARE, which I am currently working on to hold this same festival in Uruguay. I met incredible places and people on my travels, and by hosting people from Couchsurfing in my house. When I travel, I like to see places from the inside, camouflage myself, and experience the new culture to the fullest. That's why I like Couchsurfing and I like meeting and staying with natives, as well as hosting travelers in my home when I can.

Hola! Me llamo Belén y tengo 26 años. Vivo entre Montevideo y Aguas Dulces, un balneario en la costa rochense donde tengo una casita donde intento pasar el mayor tiempo posible cuando el trabajo me lo permite. Trabajo en el rubro audiovisual, en rodajes de películas, series, documentales. Me gusta mucho viajar, conocer, leer, pedalear por la ciudad, mirar películas, la fotografía, el campo, la playa, cocinar (y comer :) ). Viví 5 meses en México porque estuve estudiando cine ahi, y estuve 3 meses en Italia, en un festival de cine itinerante llamada CINEMADAMARE, que estoy actualmente trabajando para hacer este mismo festival en Uruguay. Conocí lugares y personas increíbles en mis viajes, y alojando gente de Couchsurfing en mi casa. Cuando viajo, me gusta conocer los lugares desde adentro, camuflarme, y experimentar la cultura nueva al máximo. Es por eso que me gusta Couchsurfing y me gusta conocer y alojarme con nativos, así como alojar viajeros en mi casa cuando puedo.

I am here, because I am very interested in people and different cultures around the world. I think CC it's an excellent alternative to "travel" without leaving my country, simply hosting people from all over, plus it is a way to help them get to know Uruguay the way I would like to know it if I were a foreigner. I am also here to start traveling as much as possible, first for my country, then my continent, and finally our world, knowing not only the places, but also the culture from the residents themselves, coexisting with them even if it is a day.

Estoy aquí, porque me interesa mucho la gente y las diferentes culturas que hay alrededor del mundo. Me parece que CC es una excelente alternativa para "viajar" sin salir de mi país, simplemente alojando gente de todos lados, además de que es una manera de ayudarlos a conocer mi país de la manera en que me gustaría conocerla si fuese extranjera. También estoy aquí para empezar a viajar en la medida que me sea posible, primero por mi país, luego mi continente, y finalmente nuestro mundo, conociendo no solo los lugares, sino también la cultura desde los residentes mismos, conviviendo con ellos aunque sea un día.
