ABOUT ME

I'm 58 y old, I live with my husband François and our Polish friend Grzegorz in a rather big house. I'm always looking for new people to meet. I know most of the larger city's in Belgium and I have a good knowledge of our history, also seen in the European context. I love to show people around in my country. The medieval city's of Bruges, Ghent, Brussels and Antwerp all are within a 50 miles range. I would love to be your guide.
Please, keep in mind that I'm NOT living in the center of Bruges or Ghent., both cities will take you about 40minutes with train or bus.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm gay, liberal thinking, broadminded, carpe diem, live and let live.
Getting older I realise that nothing is more important than try to understand the other so we all can live together in this crazy world.

Travelling trough Romania, being hosted by a lot of differend people was a revelation, wonderfull.

Interests

French wines, Belgian beers, playing chess, reading a good book, classic music, visiting conserts, discussing any subject I find someone to discus with, etc....
Because of health reasons I don't drink any alcohol anymore, but I still can give you some good advise.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I allways remember the smile on peoples faces when they leave after I hosted them, so far I had no negative remarks at all, and I would like to keep it this way. Helping others is my life mission.

Teach, Learn, Share

Every time I hosted people I was an experience richer, they all gave me the feeling that we're all equal regardless of race, religion or the nest you're born in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really appreciate a good conversation, this means that I want to spend as much time with my guests as possible. So if you're only interested in coming in late at night because you only need a bed, please go to a hostel, B&B or hotel.

And because I'm still working class I have to get up at 5:30am, leaving the house at 6:40am. Guests have to be out of the house when I leave. So please respect this.
