About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet intresting people, make some good friends, see the world.
ABOUT ME
Well, I’m from England and have come over to Auckland for a year, mostly to have a good time, but also to get a job and things. I’m quite laidback and will happily do whatever and try new things (except for bungee jumping...think I’m too scared!). I’m quite musical – i play the drums, piano and a little guitar (if you can call playing two songs playing guitar) and i love going to gigs / festivals / seeing live music – you can’t beat hearing your favourite song live! I love to travel and have been to many places, i want to see as much of the world as is humanly possible and hopefully make some good friends along the way!
PHILOSOPHY
Live in the moment - live spontaneously - never give up your independence - do what makes you happy always.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunetly at the moment i can't offer a spare couch but being fairly new to the country it'd be great to meet some like-minded people, perhaps visit some places together or just for a coffee and a chat....and if anyone comes to the U.K, I'd be more than happy to show you around!
Interests
Music, cocktails and nice cider, playing pool, game nights (drinking or otherwise!), attempting to ski, spontaneous trips, comedy nights.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some bands i like > Brand New, Pearl Jam, Manchester Orchestra, Foo Fighters, Dizzee Rascal, Jay Z, Paramore, the Lonely Island, RATM...anything with fantastical lyrics, drumming, guitar solos and isn't Miley Cyrus. Movies > I Love You Man, Forgetting Sarah Marhsall, Superbad, SATC, Layer Cake and anything that isn't romantic slush!...Jodi Picoults my favourite author.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to White Island here in New Zealand was probably the most spectacular thing I've ever seen. On the boat ride we saw dolphins swimming next to the boat in the water, and when we got there the amount of active land - geisas, bubbling mud pools, the crater, all the different rock layers - were fantastic to see. The experience is completed with hardhats and gas masks and you really feel like you're on another planet or something....amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm qualified in TESOL/ESL/TEFL so can offer my skills as an English teacher for anyone who wants to improve their English! I can play piano pretty well so am happy to show anyone some pianist moves if they fancy having a go...
