I’m an illustrator and traveler on a several-month journey that begins in Greece and will take me mainly through Southeast Asia, where I´ll be exploring both cultures and everyday life along the way. ✍️🌍

With me I carry a personal project called El Otro Cuaderno (The Other Notebook, a traveling sketchbook project), a way to connect through drawing, stories, and shared time.

This journey unfolds in two intertwined paths:

Free travel sketching: capturing scenes, landscapes, and moments that catch my attention in my sketchbooks.
Sketching in shared living: during Couchsurfing stays or other hosting programs, I document the experience of sharing time with my hosts and invite them to take part in their own way, whether by drawing me or simply sharing the moment. The result doesn’t matter; only the gesture itself.
At the end of the journey, all of this —my drawings and those of the people who hosted me— will come together in an exhibition and public talks, sharing the stories, experiences, and cultures discovered along the way.

I love exploring cultures through conversations, art, music, walks, and local food. I also play bass guitar in a band and enjoy hiking and nature.

If you host me, I’d be happy to share my sketchbook with you and leave you with a drawing inspired by our time together. For me, every encounter is an opportunity to exchange stories and create unique memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to meet local people and share authentic experiences, not just visit places. Couchsurfing allows me to be part of the everyday life of each place and give something back through my art and stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy historical films and the era of Italian neorealism. Musically, my tastes range from Elvis, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones, Motwon music, Pop-rock from the 1980s onward, as well as Jazz and Bossa Nova. I’m also drawn to books about art, especially the period and modern art movements of the early 20th century that have shaped history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Over the years, I’ve jumped into very different creative adventures: writing a short story "La Galería", making a short film, and designing the first album cover for *Héroes del Silencio*, a well-known Spanish rock band.

Teach, Learn, Share

- Teach: drawing and watercolor techniques, and how to create a travel sketchbook.
- Learn: local recipes and customs, words and expressions in other languages.
- Share: stories, conversations, and artistic experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- A drawing made during my stay, inspired by our time together: it could be of you, a corner of your home, a special object, or something that catches my eye. Maybe from now on, without realizing it, you will become an Urban Sketcher and find new friends in this internacional community through your notebooks.
