I like any film made by Tarantino, Van Sant, Von Trier, Coixet, Haneke, Kar Wai, Almodóvar or Lynch. My favourite books are Lolita and The Virgin Suicides. My favorite bands nowadays are Alt-j, Cala Vento, Los Punsetes, Damien Rice & Wilco.
