ABOUT ME

1. Strange sense of humor - my sense of humor ranges from sarcastic, to dirty, to laughing at fart jokes. I don't understand it either.

2. Random - I like to burst out in song randomly, and comment on strange things we see

3. Up for anything / spontaneous- Recently, I decided that I should be more spontaneous. This resulted in me coming to Scotland for a year, learning to skydive, and signing up for a charity hitchhike this April. So far, results have been FUN :)

4. Happy - I like to be happy, and I like hanging around happy people :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've gone couchsurfing three times (all in Belgium). They were all very different but very awesome experiences! I felt like my friends and I connected more with the places we were visiting because we got to meet locals and hear what they had to say about the place. Can't wait to go couchsurfing again! :)

Interessen

1. I'm a TV and movie buff, and it's become my tradition to watch Lord of the Rings trilogy and Titanic at least once a year

2. Just got into skydiving, I've done 3 jumps and I can't wait to do more!

3. Eating - I'm a foodie, I admit. I love trying new foods - I recently tried Haggis and Blood pudding here in Scotland! Not really my cup of tea, but I still enjoyed trying them.

4. Watersports - I've loved swimming since I was a kid (which is why I always have massive tan in my childhood pictures) and I also tried wakeboarding, which is a lot of fun! Whenever I visit Boracay (a famous beach in the Philippines) I always try banana boating and flying fish (which is basically when you hang on for dear life to a giant floatation device while a speedboat pulls you along and tries to get you to flip over!)

5. Traveling - I love seeing new places! The first time I traveled without my parents was when I was 11 and went to CISV camp in Fontainebleau, France. After that, I couldn't stop!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

1. Went on safari in South Africa - AMAZING. We got up at the crack of dawn, rode in this massive truck and went down looking for animals. One time we went at night, stopped the truck in the middle of nowhere and just gazed at the stars. It was the most peaceful I've ever been in my life.

2. Went bungee jumping in Nanaimo, Canada - Scariest moment of my life, I almost backed out but at the last minute I decided to look at the mountains straight ahead (NEVER LOOK DOWN!) and I just fell forward. In fact, the video man didn't even catch me falling because I went so unexpectedly. So I don't have video proof of this awesome moment :(

3. Skydiving in Scotland & England - Have done 3 jumps with the Static line course (I want to become a qualified skydiver!). So much fun! :)

4. Swimming with whale sharks in the Philippines - Just amazing :)
